What about me?

I’m Nicolas COILLARD and I love nature and open spaces.

In 2010, I had the opportunity, but also the privilege, to go to work in Antarctica at the french station Dumont d’Urville as a glaciologist and an atmospheric chemist. In 2009, I obtained a hydrogeological degree from Grenoble University (France).

I shall never thank enough the people who allowed me to go to live this dream even though I was neither a chemist nor a glaciologist by training. I was highly motivated and this motivation was what the members of the laboratory of glaciology and the polar institute were particularly looking for.
